The following are recent solicitations for bids received by our office for exotic hardwoods,
especially Ipe, Greenheart Wood and Cambara Mahogany. The most recent solicitations are at the top.

  • Received 2/24/09. Solicitation # SinghIpe. Need pricing (in USD) and availability for one 20' container of 21mm x 140mm RL. Much prefers price to include CIF ICD (Cost Insurance Freight Inland Container Depot) to Tughlakabad, New Delhi, India. If necessary, quote your price FOB US port. Note: Customer carefully specified that the Ipe is to be "Ipe from Brazil which is deep, dark brown in colour... I am not looking for lapacho." Please include Solicitation # above on your bid. Solicitation on hold. Waiting for response from Buyer. No response to emails.

  • Received 2/24/09. Solicitation #: Paiauis11701GW. Need pricing for following Greenheart Wood delivered to NY, 11701:
    19 34' pilings (bulkhead and pier)
    17 39' pilings (bulkhead and pier)
    10 6x8-20' or 8x8-20' S4S in GW or Ipe (used as bottom waler on bulkhead)
    10 6x8-22' or 8x8-22' S4S in GW or Ipe (used as bottom waler on bulkhead)

    Fork lift and crane can be available onsite. Please include Solicitation # above on your bid. Need bid NLT Friday, 2/27/09 for delivery end of March or later. Solicitation on hold. Spoke to client 3/5 and gave her the last and final bid. She said they should know by March 9.

  • Received 2/23/09. Solicitation #: Pearson33309GW. Need pricing for following rough sawn Greenheart Wood delivered to Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309:
    2 4x12 -8'
    4 4x12-10'
    1 4x12-12'
    14 6x10-8'

    Please include Solicitation # above on your bid. Need bid NLT Tuesday, 2/24/09. Delivery ASAP. Previous supplier dropped the ball. Solicitation fulfilled (purchased locally).

Need pricing for 1232 LF of 1x6 RL Cambera (or Ipe) and 3 boxes (100 ea) galvanized Deckmaster Hidden Fasteners delivered to Mohnton, PA 19540. Please include Solicitation # above on your bid. Need bid NLT Tuesday, 2/24/09. Solicitation paused. Cost is currently out of budget.

  • Received 2/19/09. Solicitation #: Alvey78373Ipe. Need pricing for 191 1x6-14' delivered to Port Aransas, TX 78373. Please include Solicitation # above on your bid. Need bid NLT Friday, 2/20/09 for delivery ASAP. (Client already has 4 bids) Bought from local supplier.
